Already own a cuff? Keep it for laterals, flies and rows, and it packs smaller. For pushdowns and curls, True Form adds what a cuff can't: a wrist held straight. Rigid, under 200 g.
THE SCIENCE, NOT THE HYPE
Momentum doesn't build arms. Tension does.
With two hands on a rope, your torso, wrists and grip all help move the stack. One arm on a fixed path takes most of that help away, so more of every rep is done by the arm you are training.
Tension builds muscle
Tension is what grows a muscle. The brace holds it on your triceps instead of letting it leak into your wrists and back.
The negative is half the rep
You are strongest lowering the weight, and that is where a lot of the growth comes from. A fixed path lets you take the negative slow, without the handle twisting away.
No cheating left
No wrist flick, no elbow flare, no swing. When the path is fixed, the only way to finish a rep is the honest way. Failing clean also costs you far less than grinding out sloppy ones.
Why we built it
Double-arm pushdowns burned our whole body and barely touched our arms. So we built the opposite, printed it ourselves, and load-tested it to 23 kg, pulled with both hands. It held.
SINGLE-ARM LOAD
One arm will humble you.
Take one arm off the rope and the number on the stack collapses. That scares people off. It shouldn't. It is the proof.
On a rope you might move 40 kg with two hands. Split it between two arms, subtract what your torso, wrists and grip were quietly doing, and you see what your triceps were actually working with. Here there is nowhere to hide, so the weight drops and the set finally hurts in the right place. Our own sets end under 10 kg.
Load test: 23 kg, pulled with both hands on a Matrix cable machine. Nothing flexed, slipped or cracked. For single-arm work we recommend up to 15 kg.
THE BUILD
What it is made of.
Pulled with both hands on a Matrix cable machine. No flex in the brace, no slip in the pivot.
01 · THE BRACE
Reinforced where it matters
A thick-walled PETG brace with extra-dense infill and a reinforcing collar at the neck, where the load is highest. It spreads the pull across your forearm instead of one point.
02 · THE HARDWARE
M6 bolt and lock nut
Steel hardware, mounted and tightened before it leaves us. One turn locks the pivot for pushdowns or frees it for curls.
03 · THE STRAP
30 cm hook-and-loop strap
Closes the brace on most forearms. Pull it tight and the attachment stops being a separate object you have to hold on to. Very large forearm? See the fit guide below.
FIT
Made for real forearms.
The brace sits along the top of your forearm and one strap closes it. No sizes to guess for most lifters.
Standard
Available nowFits most forearms, lean or muscular. The 30 cm strap pulls as tight as you need.
XL
In testingFor very large forearms, the kind you see on competitive bodybuilders. A bigger brace with a longer strap is being tested now.
Not sure it will fit? Write to us before you order and we will tell you honestly.
WHAT'S IN THE PACKAGE
Arrives assembled. Ready to clip.
Inside the box: the attachment, with the M6 bolt and nut already mounted. Nothing to assemble, nothing extra to buy. Unbox it, clip it on, train.
The attachment weighs under 200 g.
Before every session: check the brace and the neck for cracks and make sure the bolt is tight. If you see a crack, stop using it and write to us.
FAQ
Questions, answered.
Does it fit my gym's cable machine?
Yes. It clips onto any standard cable-machine carabiner, commercial gym or home rack. No adapters, no tools.
I already use a wrist cuff. Why switch?
A cuff takes your grip out of the set, and for laterals, flies and rows it is the better tool. What it does not do is stop your wrist from bending on pushdowns and curls. True Form holds the wrist straight in a rigid brace. If pushdowns and curls are what you care about, that is the difference.
What exercises does it cover?
Triceps pushdowns with the pulley high and the pivot locked, and biceps curls with the pulley low. One attachment for the whole arm session.
How much weight does it take?
We recommend up to 15 kg for strict single-arm work, which is more than most lifters need: our own sets end under 10 kg. The attachment was load-tested to 23 kg, pulled with both hands, on a Matrix cable machine.
Will it fit my forearm?
It fits most forearms, lean or muscular: the 30 cm strap closes the brace. If your forearm is very large, write to us before you order. A bigger XL brace is in testing.
Is a 3D-printed part strong enough?
It is printed in PETG with extra-dense infill and a reinforcing collar where the load is highest, and load-tested to 23 kg with both hands. Check it before each session and stop using it if you ever see a crack. Write to us and we will sort it out under the guarantee.
How do I look after it?
Wipe the brace and strap with a damp cloth after training. Do not leave it in a hot car for hours: PETG softens with heat.
